The time for Americans to respond to the human suffering and disastrous famines that have accumulated throughout central Africa has come. Without help and intervention theoutlook for the people of these regions remains grim and horrible. The suffering men, women and children are crying out and we Americans must respond. The Lord JesusChrist says, "From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and fromthe one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked." This includesAmerica and its people. AFFRICAorg is an unofficial, non-affiliated and non-denominational effort of private sector Americans working together to fulfill AFFRICAorg's mission statement that is found in the words of the Lord Jesus Christ, where he says; "Then the King will say to those on the right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father, take your inhertitance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me." The King will reply, "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.
Here in the United States the American people have been given an abundance far greater than any other country or people. We have everything. Those that are wasting away from hunger and disease in central Africa, have nothing. In the States, Americans clamor for diets and books on how to lose weight because they have so much food to eat. Americans have to invent ways on how to lose weight, on how not to eat so much. Those in the famines have nothing to eat. They have no medicines or doctors. They have no one to care for them or to look after them. They are the most destitute and forgotten people on earth. They are the ones of whom the Lord Jesus Christ has spoken. The abundance we have here in America is no coincidence. Nor is it a great achievement of our own. It has been given to us. Now, from Americans, much is being demanded, and much more is being asked. Americans are being called to help the famine stricken people of central Africa. There is no more fitting time than now, no more fitting people or place. Let all Americans who hear the words and commands of the Lord Jesus Christ understand, efforts are now under way for the establishment of an American relief city, to be located in a central African host country. This post will be a free-zone, a city called Hub. A free city built by free Americans where American personnel will live and work in all their respective fields to build, maintain and support base and remote relief teams and operations. All relief efforts, supplies and services needed for base and field teams will emanate from Hub. Hub will be built and maintained by Americans who desire to bring life and healing to where there is only famine and disease and death. Hub will be manned by American men and women who want to help by giving and serving. Hub's development will be an enormous task. Much is needed and much is being asked.
